Major accomplishment

Well, I did it. I just finished the first draft of my third novel. All the important elements are there. Story arc, character arcs, chapters. Now I must read it and look for any plot holes, flaws, awkward language. My skills as a former editor in the workplace must be tapped into. I need to flesh out the narrative to about 90,000 words from 81,000. For me, this writing experience has been different than the others. With my previous work, I combed back through the chapters before proceeding. So the entire work had been edited at least once before it was done. This time, I was compelled, for some unknown reason, to keep going forward. I have never reread any chapters, so this rewrite will prove interesting.

When I write, I never really know what is going to happen until I sit down and start. Thoughts come to me using this gut technique and I trust it. Now the proof of this will out as I read the work in its entirety for the first time. Wish me luck. And wish me luck marketing it to Kindle Scout and agents. Anyone wanting to beta read this work for constructive criticism is welcome to contact me for a free ebook.
