It’s time for the bloviated hate monger to disappear from the public stage. Americans have been subjected to this constant diatribe of gloom and stupidity from a man who won’t quit running for president. If you look at his schedule during his stint as president he mostly played golf and massaged his reelection with constant rallies like Hitler. Stir up the base and have them foaming at the mouth. Have them become cult members of an evil cabal of Satan. These brainwashed bottom feeders adorn themselves with trump paraphernalia and worship manufactured Marvel comic hero images of him that are a total fabrication from his actual sloppy, old body. How did an amoral, lifetime criminal capture them so completely? What bell did he ring? What switch did he flip? Is that how all despicable dictators start by appealing to the most uneducated and gullible? But then somehow he attracted followers who should know better but saw a wagon to hop on to stay in power and ride with him. The fleeced and the fleecers formed a strong bond.
Even when we experienced one of the best presidents in my lifetime Joe Biden, the emotionally unstable trump managed to keep his craven followers. But out of left field, a miracle happened. Kamala Harris who had not yet established herself as a politician of consequence but with Biden’s endorsement emerged as a breath of fresh air. Her popularity grows daily. Even life-long Republicans are seeing the light and endorsing her. It’s a wonder to behold. Her’s and TimWalz’s platform of hope and joy, trumps trump’s doom and gloom. People are sick of the lies, and his negative and angry denigration of this great country. His Hitler tactics are no longer working. His practice of repeating a lie enough times so people believe it’s true, another Hitler tactic, is no longer working.
Finally, we all can move on from this dark period of DJT domination of our media. When he is defeated he will definitely be too old to run again. We will be rid of trump and his crime family for good.
On another note, I was born right after WWII ended. As a young adult, I read many fiction and non-fiction works that took place during the Holocaust and the misery and fear of the concentration camps. These accounts shook me to my core and I felt like I had been more than lucky to be born in this country. My birth was so close to that time period that I could have been caught up in that horror. When people come out in droves in NYC, Toronto, London, and universities everywhere screaming “Death to Jews” a pit forms in my stomach. The hideous massacre on Oct. 7 by terrorists from Gaza known as Hamas and also civilians slaughtered 1200 Jews with such a horrific degree of barbarism and dehumanizing hate was hard enough to fathom. However, the outcry from the world has not been against the perpetrators but the victims. There is so much antisemitism in this world lying dormant that a terrorist organization that has become skilled at blaming Israel for the heartless way it steals money from the world and mistreats its own people has the world’s sympathy. Hama leaders live like kings not in Gaza but in Qatar. In mansions paid for by the rest of the world earmarked so that Gaza can build a thriving economy. They want this gravy train to continue. And all the ignorant people who scream to free Palestine have fallen for this con. But it’s not just a con. Jews will be killed by angry mobs who think Palestinians are oppressed. No one will read about the resort Hotels in Gaza, how Palestinians worked on Kibbutzes, were paid good wages with benefits, and told Hamas where everything was so Oct 7 was efficient. It sickens me and breaks my heart about Hersh and the other sweet souls who were at a music festival for peace. It sickens and frightens me that hate for Jews has become stronger than hate for terrorists.
Can we all take a moment to see that what happens to one of us happens to all of us. When we investigate Islam, there is much misery for women in that religion. They are sex slaves and real slaves of their husbands and are beaten regularly. The Muslim world living in Medieval times bumps against a modern Isreal at its borders, where women are free, and science and medicine flourish. I beseech the world, reexamine who you think the enemies of humanity are.
